Mid-Autumn Festival 2013

Ciao ragazzi,

come va? La scorsa settimana come vi avevo detto c'è stata festività qui in Cina e ne ho approfittato per portarmi avanti con le lezioni e i sempre mille nuovi caratteri. 

Tra una pausa e l'altra giovedì sera ho partecipato al Festival di Metà Autunno di musica elettronica tenutosi al Workers Stadium nel distretto di Chaoyang. 

Per me è stata la prima volta in un concerto di musica elettronica con Dj famosi in tutto il mondo come Hardwell, numero 6 del rank mondiale. 

Non pensavo che mi sarebbe piaciuto così tanto, e invece, ragazzi pazzesco, un sound incredibile, che ti prendeva fin dall'inizio. Poi ovviamente con la giusta compagnia tutto riesce bene. 

Non ero mai stata dentro il Workers Stadium, è stato costruito nel 1959 per il 10* anniversario della Repubblica popolare cinese, ed è stato luogo di ritrovo per gli Asian Games nel 1990. 

Adesso è usato principalmente per i concerti o le grandi manifestazioni, oltre ad essere diventato un luogo di ritrovo della nightlife di Pechino in quanto è circondato dai locali e dai club piú famosi e piú frequentati della Capitale. 

Non vedo già l'ora di andare al prossimo festival, can't wait!!!

What's up? Last week there were national holiday here in China so I spent few day off from uni and lessons. 

Thursday night I went to Mid-Autumn eletronic music festival at Workers Stadium at Chaoyang District. 

It was my first time at this kind of concert and I had best fun ever, it was amazing, everything amazing, sounds, music,people and most of all my crew. 

Hardwell was one of the Dj set, #6 world rank, amazing music. 

I've never been inside the Workers Stadium, it was opened in 1959 for the 10* Anniversary of China. 

It was used for Asian Games in 1990 and now it is used most of all for concerts and big exhibitions. 

Its position is great because it's in the middle of Beijing's nightlife full of best clubs of the Capital. 

Can't wait to go to another music festival.

Here I am. Again!!!

Ciao ragazzi.
so che è tanto tempo che non scrivo, comunque ora sono tornata e non solo qui ma anche a Pechino dopo la pausa estiva in Italia.
Ho passato due mesi fantastici con le persone più care, amici e famiglia.
Il mio ritorno è stato meno traumatico dell'anno passato quando non sapevo neanche una parola di cinese ne tantomeno i caratteri.
Beijing è sempre lei, caotica e inquinata, ma avrà sempre un posto speciale nel mio cuore.
Vi terrò aggiornati con tante foto e post dei post e delle esperienze più strane che vivrò quest'anno.
Nel frattempo da oggi fino a Sabato qui in Cina si festeggia il Festival di Metà Autunno che si tiene il 15esimo giorno dell'ottavo mese nel Calendario cinese che solitamente cade a fine Settembre o primi di Ottobre vicino all'equinozio autunnale.
Questo Festival è anche chiamato Festival della Mooncake (Torta lunare in italiano, suona meglio in inglese) perchè è tradizione mangiare queste tortine nelle famiglie cinesi accompagnato dal the cinese.
Queste deliziose tortine possono raggiungere fino a 1000 calorie per porzione, quindi non abusatene.

I know it's a long time since I posted but now I'm back not only here but also in Beijing after a summer break in Italy.
I had an amazing time with my best friends and family, but now it's time to restart.
I found Beijing as always polluted and caotic, but for me it's very special for many reasons.
I will tell you all the strange things and experience that I'm gonna do.
In the meantime from today to Saturday in China we celebrate the Mid- Autumn Festival that is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar  which could be  in September or October close to the autumnal equinox.
This Festival is also called Mooncake Festival, because it's a tradition eating the famous mooncake.
Mooncake is a small cake very rich thick filling usually made from red bean is surrounded by a thin (2–3 mm) crust and may contain yolks from salted duck eggs.
Chinese people eat accompanied with the delicious Chinese tea and today it's common for businessmen and families to present them to their clients or relatives as presents.
The caloric content of a mooncake is approximately 1,000 calories for a cake measuring 10 cm.
